I’m a Daddy Again!

A Howling Hello to my fellow EB’s and EB enthusiasts,

Big news from Ennis. On September 13, 2026, Trinn-Trin and I welcomed six puppies into the world. I’d like to say I helped a lot, but mostly I paced and Mommy told me to go lie down. (I did not go lie down.)

Daddy says this is our third litter and also our last one together. At first that made my ears droop. But Daddy explained that Trinity has done her part bringing great pups into the world, and now it’s her turn to shine on the Trial Circuit and in the field. I’ve seen her hunt. The birds should be worried. (Daddy says I should not tell the birds. Too late.)

Daddy says this next part is important and I have to let him say it exactly right, so here it is:

From Daddy: We are quite pleased to announce the arrival of Big Sky Bretons’ third litter. This represents the final litter from Tux and Trinity. As proud and pleased as we have been of the pups produced by our foundational Sire and Dam, we want to see Trinity fulfill her potential on the Trial Circuit and in the field. She’s done her part in bringing outstanding pups into the world, and now it’s her time to blossom and shine!

The Final Score

Daddy calls it a “final score,” like it’s a ball game. If it is, Trinn-Trin and I won.

  • Born: September 13, 2026, in Ennis, Montana

  • 6 puppies:

    • 2 Orange/White (1 female, 1 male)

    • 2 Black/White (2 males)

    • 2 Tri-color (2 males)

  • UKC and AKC Registered

  • Location: Lake Havasu City, Arizona and Ennis, Montana (Yellowstone Country)

Mom and pups are doing great. Me too, thanks for asking.

Meet My Kids

Daddy took pictures at 11 days old, when they looked like little potatoes with ears, and again at 6 weeks, when they started looking like EB’s. He’s adding more as they grow, so check back. (I tried to help with the pictures. Daddy says nose prints on the camera are not helpful.)

Brisa: Orange/White Female

Biggie: Orange/White Male

Quill: Black/White Male

TRY BOY: TRI-Color Male

Kershief: TRI-COlor Male

Crook: Black/white Male

About Those Names

Daddy wants everybody to read this part, so here it is in his words:

From Daddy: Except for Brisa and Biggie, all names were assigned by us to help us identify each pup. All puppy buyers are free to name their pups. However, we request that the first letter of the registered name begin with the letter “B” as a sign of respect for the Epagneul Breton Naming Convention tradition. A simple way to accommodate this naming convention is to register the name with the following beginning: “Big Sky Bretons...” It is also customary to include the breeder name as part of the registered name. This suggestion satisfies both conventions.

I think B is a fine letter. B is for Breton. B is for Bird. B is for Bacon. (Daddy says Bacon is not an approved registered name. I still think it’s a strong choice.)

Want One of My Pups?

If one of these little bird dogs is meant for you, Daddy and Mommy would love to hear from you. Fill out a Puppy Application or Contact Us. Daddy says performance references for me and Trinn-Trin are available on request. (I can provide references too. They will all say I am a Good Boy.)

Perfect Points, Sharp Shots, and Righteous Retrieves to you all!
